Orthodontic ASSISTANT Position Overview
General skills and traits you will need to succeed at this position include:
Proper use of PPE and standard sterilization and disinfection procedures.
Assist the orthodontist during various Braces and Invisalign procedures, including banding, bonding, archwire placement, Invisalign scans, and adjustments.
Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and understanding.
Take panoramic and cephalometric x-rays
Take intraoral and extraoral photographs
Communication skills are essential for working with team members and our patients.
Punctuality and reliability.
Take joy in enhancing systems and find personal satisfaction in completing your work to a high standard.
Willingness to learn and be coached: everyone on our team participates in weekly, monthly, and annual training to sharpen our skills and we are always striving to improve.
